You can wash a playpen mat in the washing machine on a programme with few revolutions and a low temperature (max. 30 degrees). Then let the playpen mat dry flat, for example on the floor. Tip: add a tennis ball to the washing machine. The tennis ball hits the rug during washing to keep it in shape.
